How do you interact with people and make decisions in your daily work?

Taro Tanaka

I always make a conscious effort to listen to and understand what others are saying. In the real estate field, I interact with people from diverse backgrounds and with different ways of thinking, so I first try to understand as much as possible what they are thinking and feeling. Only then do I try to convey my own thoughts. When making decisions, I also try to proceed after understanding the other party's intentions and background.

A shift in perspective

Please tell me about the origins that led to your current way of thinking and interacting with people.

Taro Tanaka

Previously, I only thought about things from my own perspective, but at some point, I realized that there are many things I can see from the other person's point of view. Through that experience, I realized that there are things I couldn't see from my own perspective alone. I think that by starting to see things from the other person's point of view, the way I interact with people and the way I think have gradually changed.

Have you noticed any instances where your way of thinking or interacting with others has changed?

Originally, I didn't listen to everyone's opinions much, but once I started listening, my perspective broadened. Knowing that everyone has different thoughts and backgrounds has broadened my own range of choices and judgments. I believe that this process continues even now.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

Taro Tanaka

I cherish the time I spend going to cafes and experiencing new things through travel. I feel that stepping away from my daily routine and experiencing new places and atmospheres calms my mind and refreshes me. This time also supports me when I face my work again.

What kinds of people and themes would you like to be involved with in the future?

Taro Tanaka

From now on, I want to support people who want to try new things. I myself value new experiences, so I hope to be able to help people who are taking on such challenges. I want to continue to be involved with people while listening to their voices.
