How do you usually make decisions and take action in your work and daily life?

SEN

When a problem arises, I don't limit the cause to just one thing. I take a step back and analyze the situation comprehensively to see where and what kind of issues exist. After that, I calculate the time and number of people needed to solve the problem, set goals, and decide how to proceed. It is my daily habit to work toward a solution within the conditions and deadlines I set for myself.

What experiences shaped your current standards and way of thinking?

SEN

After studying abroad in Japan, I joined a Tokyo OTA venture company as a new graduate and experienced launching the overseas business division. At that company, it was standard practice to set hypotheses for goals and try repeatedly. In that environment, I would first analyze, estimate the feasibility, and then prioritize and proceed. At first, I was told my pace was slow, but in the end, it led to results, and this approach is still useful in my current work.

Has your way of thinking or acting changed in your work so far?

SEN

Previously, when creating a new product, I would explain why it was necessary to related departments and only proceed once everyone agreed. However, with the advancement of cloud and code, I can now create things myself at a sample level. By trying things myself and quickly checking the necessary functions, I've naturally incorporated the "just try it" approach from my venture days.

What do you value in your time off or daily life?

SEN

On my days off, I enjoy going to the pool or art museums with my daughter and watching her reactions. That brings me great relaxation. Also, visiting the increasing number of Taiwanese restaurants and bars in Tokyo with my husband has become a refreshing change of pace.

What do you want to work on in the future?

Nowadays, it's possible to create new web services with just a little knowledge and effort, but not many people actually take action. I want to leverage my experience and take on various new services. To do that, I want to enrich both my work and private life and value generating new ideas.
