When I interact with people, I first try to thoroughly understand what kind of person they are. When making decisions, I focus on fundamental aspects such as whether my heart is truly moved, whether I want something, or whether I feel like doing it. I value both trying to understand the other person and how I feel myself.

I didn’t originally have this way of thinking; it’s something I acquired through being involved in various businesses as a working professional. When I experienced situations where things didn’t go well, I felt that whether a project ultimately moves forward depends on whether there is a strong desire to see it through. I believe that, in order to accomplish something, the desire to keep going is fundamentally important.

Have there been moments in your work where you felt your way of thinking or awareness changed?

Daiki Yoshioka

In the past, I used to prioritize my own thoughts, but as I continued working, I became more conscious of the customer’s perspective and values. Sometimes I create products for which I am not the user, and in those cases, I started to think more about what the other person values rather than relying on my own feelings. I realized that it’s important to put myself in the other person’s shoes and plan with a customer-centric mindset.

How do you spend your time outside of work or on days off?

Outside of work, I go out to new places or visit shops I’ve never been to before. I consciously try to increase my awareness through these experiences, and I feel that by accumulating new experiences in daily life, my perspective naturally broadens.
